[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slate texture is an acquired taste! Bowls are beautiful and I wanted to love them, but it’s like nails on a chalkboard each time you touch the bowls.
The bowls are lovely and of good quality but they are smaller than standard size cereal bowls and I find that problematic.

Works well to freshen the look of the dining table. Light weight but seems robust. A spoon used in this bowl will be noisier than in a smoothly finished porcelain bowl. Perfect size for cereal and salad.

We have purchased six place settings of Villeroy and Boch Manufacture Rock dishes over time. They do Not EVER disappoint. The bowls and coffee cups are no exception. Love this stuff.
