[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I did some serious prepping for the next weather system headed my way. After having no power for 18 hours, no internet and the cell towers were also not working from the last storm, I got serious! I bought the weather radio at the BX. Which is multi-functional to the max! The radio part is: AM/FM/WB. It runs on either a rechargeable battery, size "AA" batteries or a wall plug in to 120 v. You can charge it with the wall plug in, a little pop out solar panel or by a hand crank. It has a flashlight on one end and a little pop out light on the other. You can also use it to charge your small devices. But wait! There's more! It has a small thermometer 🌡 on top. And I love thermometers! Hopefully our power stays on this time. But if it doesn't, I am prepared. I also bought a small fan, that runs off power tool batteries.

And with multiple ways to power this ( batteries, solar power, turn crank, and d/c wall charger) I feel more prepaired against bad weather.

First of all, hubby bought this. Within a few min of checking all buttons and crannies, I had to tell him he is right. Size, functionality, appearance and price all are perfect. Ty Hubby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking just for a simple radio to keep on while my dogs are at home alone, but a coworker recently told me about a weather radio which I'd never heard of before. When I saw this product and all it had to offer I just knew I had to buy it. Several options to power it was definitely a huge selling point for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is great to have in case of emergencies. I appreciate all the ways you can power this radio with. Only one failing grade is the inability to charge this unit from a power bank. You have the ability to charge from solar, crank, or wall outlet. Why not a power bank? That To me is an oversight. Because of this I removed two stars. Because of this I would not recommend to a friend as there are plenty of options out there that are able to charge from a power bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I have several options for powering this in an emergency. The radio is clear if a bit tinny. But I misunderstood what the siren is. I thought it was to warn me if storms are coming, but apparently it’s for me to get attention if I need it in an emergency. Unfortunately, there’s nothing in the instructions about the siren or how or when to use it, so I’m only guessing. Come to think of it, I’m not sure how much I will use this because the storm warnings aren’t necessarily specific to my area, so it can take a while to get around to what’s happening locally as it explains warnings in other counties.
