I got these for a friend who never had skate shoes and she loves them. I suggested them because the 440 V2 Highs are amazing to skate and wear.
They're quite handsome and seem quality. Nothing wrong with them, but no reason to get too excited, either. Everything is just as should be expected.
New Balance is my brand of choice for shoes, because I have large and wide feet and NB shoes always fit me well. Unfortunately this is NOT the case with these shoes. I ordered my usual size 14 2E - but they are ridiculously narrow! No idea why this is called 2E, as it looks and feels like a normal M width. So had to send them back.
I bought this same style of shoe close to 4 years ago, and my old 440s are finally starting to wear through the sole. With quality and longevity like that, I couldn’t not buy another pair. These are as comfortable and well made which is my main reasons for being a returning customer.
Very comfy and every day as well as skating. Love the look of these too!
Cute but not very wide. I bought a 2E which is the wide width and normally NB running shoes fit me in standard but these are super narrow in a wide width still.
Love the sneaker, If only they had wide in stock, ugh. Ive been waiting forever. just a little more room in the toe box & these will be perfect. Otherwise killer quality, great fit in the entire foot except the toe box, cool style. They say the 440 V2 is the widest toe box of all their skate shoes. Hopefully they'll get the wide in soon!!!!!
the wide pair fits like the old 440v1 (aka a regular width shoe) & the standard fit super tight. so just buy the wides right? wrong, always out of stock. 480s fit perfect so i’ll just stick to those for now even though i like the 440 design more. the wide pair i had did skate nice though.

Nice that these come in wide sizes, I couldn't have bought them otherwise. Was looking for a nice neutral sneaker and these work well. Pretty comfortable, decent support.
