NB Numeric 480

Nice looking shoe, but the innersoles weren't very comfortable so had to change them out.

These NB skate shoes are great!! They look great, and are super comfortable on me with the “wide” availability on the NB website.

Too tight in the forefoot foot and mid foot even with a wide version do not recommend for people walking around all day will constrict your foot. If you absolutely want I would recommend at least a size up and wider than you normally get. Will return.

It seems like the width of New Balance shoes has gotten smaller. I have a similar NB shoe, the CT 300, in the same size, but these feel tighter at the toe. I thought the toe box would have a decent amount of room. I'm trying to break these in-I didn't have to break the CT 300 shoes in and, according to my podiatrist, you shouldn't get shoes that you break in at all. For context, I'm a woman, and I usually have no problem with the women's wide in other brands, but I have to get men's shoes when I get NB. I also don't like the elastic attached to the tongue as it makes it harder to put my inserts in. I like the look of the shoe, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll break in enough for me to walk in them for more than just short periods of time.

They fit great, allow my toes to move around and let my feet breath, my feet don't sweat like they do in air max Nike, and they look sharp also

In general it seems like the numerics have consistency issues with sizing. i have a pair of 1010s, but they were too long and i couldn't skate them. i still wear them walking around. so i bought these 480s a half size smaller. the length is good, but where the laces end and the toecap starts is too tight, it's pushing down right before my toes. i'm going to see if they break in so i can wear them at all, but i'm a afraid to skate these since they might break my feet. if i exchange them for my actual size, they'd be too long like the 1010s, and i'm not sure that would make them less tight. something wrong with this design, never had to think this way with other brands. But they do look good. especially for a new balance. so i'm trying to make them work.
