We own numerous pairs of new balance shoes as a family. We love the deals at Joe's new balance. Bought these shoes for my son a bit big. He rides his bike and scooter drags his feet the shoe held up for months of abuse beyond what the shoe is intended to! Unfortunately the Velcro on his let go way to early. I combed it out numerous times, hoping maybe it was jus a little dirty and needed a stiff brush and wash but no the velcro really sucked. Eventually cut off the strap and put new laces on for a pair of beater shoes! Great build on the shoes Just not the Velcro. Bought him another name brand pair that rhyme with echer trashed in weeks!

The velcro wore out after just a few months of regular use. Once that happened, the shoe started slipping off constantly, making it impossible to wear. It’s a shame because the design and comfort are solid, but the velcro is a major flaw that really affects long-term wearability.

The laces came apart and frayed after the first two wears

Kids wanted to start running like me and needed a good shoe. The kids are very happy with the shoes.

I really wanted to like these, but within a week one of the elastic ties broke and the ability to request a replacement is non existent. I was very disappointed with the quality and now the ability to exchange these shoes.

My 7 year old has a wide foot and I finally found a shoe that fits. They are also holding up nicely so far. New Balance is one of the few brands that come in wide width for kids. I am very pleased with these sneakers and my son loves them too.

The hook and loop on the left shoe already failed. Have had them almost a month. Same thing happened to the last pair but they lasted much longer, almost 6 months.

My daughter has some sensory issues, after trying on about 20 different kind of shoes we found ones she would wear! Thank you for making WIDE options! And thank you for the velcro strap, this helps make the laces not feel so tight for my kiddo. Great back-to-school shoe. She now owns this shoe in two colors.
