Great looking shoe!
As a huge fan of the CM996 and MS997 (997 Sport), this is a great shoe. Unfortunately, both of those models have been discontinued. The CM996 lives on overseas, while the 997 Sport has been discontinued since around 2021. I'm glad I made the decision to buy this model as an alternative. It is very comfortable with supportive cushioning, and like the other two models it is very stylish. It also seems like it will be very durable. I hope New Balance keeps this model around, and brings back the CM996 and MS997!

NB 80's Original History Grey
The shoe is comfortable far as support.But fit is different from the other New Balance 997R Athletic Shoe - Dark Arctic. Very comfortable. But love the traditional authentic grey that New balance created.

Not For Walking
Bought these for a vacation where I expected to do a lot of walking…big mistake. They have zero arch support, rubbed against my ankles and caused blisters, and the narrow toe box left my feet sore. I couldn’t wait to kick them off!
