Flat waist band in smooth and fit nicely. Five pockets on the back are helpful for carrying essentials, Energy gels snugly fit into the smaller pocket. I tried run with my phone in the zippered pocket, my phone bounced and decided taking out. Although I don't carry my phone in the zippered pocket, it is very ideal to keep cards, keys etc. securing in. I love the color - coral orange - cheerful color. And it doesn't show color partial darkening changing even I sweated a lot. I love these shorts!

Also, LOVE that there is a drawstring. This is such an important feature for running shorts that helps keep them in place.

Love that there are two hidden pockets that can both fit gels on the sides of the shorts, plus the zippered back pocket for keys. These are super lightweight and breathable - really enjoyed running in them in hot weather this summer.
