For me, this boot felt a full size smaller than the 8 on the tag. Very small overall.

As with other fitness shoes, they run small. I wear 6.5 in dress shoes, and the 7.5 was too small, but the 8 worked perfectly. Wore these hiking for a week, and love them. They definitely have more cushioning than my previous boots. My favorite feature is the grip. We were climbing on a lot of rocks, and these boots held the grip exceptionally well. Very happy with the purchase.

Had to send first pair back and get a larger size, then spent a week wearing around the house to decide if I really liked them before taking off doe an almost 6 week safari in Africa with this as my only pair of shoes. Worked great! Wore all day long everyday through hikes, game drives, airplane travel etc and my feet never hurt. Had good traction on slippery ground slopes as wells as steep stairs and ramps in lodges. Now I just need to know if I can toss in washer and dryer to clean for wear back home. Would buy again if they came in multiple colors. White might not have been best choice for their purpose.

I am a size 9 in all shoes - needed a 9.5 in this boot then the foot was perfect - unfortunately the ankle of the mid rise sits too high on my leg - tried loosening the laces etc but it just puts pressure in the wrong spot - would definitely cause issue if I hiked in them. LOVE the design of this boot - next to my regular columbia hike boot the ankle is much taller on this boot

Looking for a comfortable supportive hiking shoe and this is it. I have a high arch and have had plantar fasciitis off/on. These boots (adding custom orthotics) are the best choice for me.

I liked the style of these and I love On, but my normal size (11) was too small and there isn’t a size larger. I have run into this issue with many other hiking shoes like the Merrill Moab. Just not for us large footed girls. They also hit a spot on my ankle that I didn’t care. Unfortunately had to return.

I really like the look of this shoe, the cushioning, overall fit and the general comfort. But the back at the Achilles is way too tight and no matter how much I loosen the laces (or leave them untied) it presses on my Achilles and hurts. The back dips down and has a sharp edge right where it hits the back of your foot, so even if you don’t have a sensitivity there it’s going to hit weird. Even just sitting and not walking it’s too tight. I so wanted them to work, even at this cost, but sadly they’re going back.
