Tirra Sport кожаные сандалии

Comfortable and secure. This leather version of the Tirra sport sandal worked better for me than the nylon braid version (my feet slipped forward). I wish the leather tabs were a bit longer so there would not be so much exposed Velcro but I can live with this imperfection. For context, I'm an old lady with flat feet and plantar fasciatus.

These sandals were comfortable right out of the box. I purchased them for a trip to Europe, where we will be doing a lot of walking. They are cute enough to wear with skirts or dresses. I especially love the adjustable straps, allowing a custom fit.

We bought these for my 23 y.o daughter who was travelling overseas. She has a slender foot and high arches and had been having some arch pain in her R foot. She put these on and immediately felt that they supported her foot well. She has worn them sightseeing getting 18k-20K steps (although she puts a little extra support on the R side with a slip on mid foot support) and says her feet feel great.

I couldn't keep these very good-looking sandals because the stitching on the straps across the front of my foot was irritating.

I ended up wearing these on my trip to Europe where I was walking all day. They have medium thick soles and moderate support, and I get plantar fasciitis pain. The straps adjust in multiple ways which is helpful. There are other Tevas that have thinner soles that are more fashionable (Verra style) and others that have thick sneaker thickness soles that look like clown shoes. These ended up being my happy medium. Two negatives, one is the strap around the ankle ended up rubbing and creating a sore on my one foot at the side of the ankle. It does have a comfort cushion layer to it but it didn’t matter it hit me a little wrong. Second negative, these are the style equivalent of a Subaru, like you look like you might go hiking later. I’d have preferred to feel more attractive and less… sporty? Dowdy? I don’t know that I’d bring them again bc the style wasn’t the cutest. I felt more attractive when I was wearing full sneakers.

The size was right on and very comfortable. I just returned them for a darker color at no charge . I had ordered the light brown "Caribou" by mistake and was totally helped with the return and credit by a very helpful telephone support person and my 10% off was applied to the second pair ! Great customer care!

Shoe seemed a bit longer than the old all synthetic shoe. And it is a bit heavier and probably more substantial--if that could be possible!

Teva still makes a nice. I thought I would like the dark color, but I did not; especially on the insole. Leather shoes seem to be a bit longer than the older style and material.

This years version is longer than last season. I find I am tripping on the toe portion. Still comfortable but I would order a full size smaller to account for the length.

I had to return them because right out of the box, the front straps rubbed against the top of my foot/ base of my toes on both feet, creating red areas that would have resulted in blisters if I kept wearing them. It is possible this happened because I chose a leather version of this shoe instead of the non-leather version. The shoe is so perfect in every other way so maybe the rubbing won't happen to anyone else.
