this is the third pair of this type of style I've bought. This type of style hasn't been offered for years. the last pair I bought was ten years ago. They fit better (with an insert) and were more comfortable. The new ones rubbed painfully on my heels, the first 2 pair I bought didn't. hopefully they'll get better with wear. I've been disappointed with the lack of everyday, attractive Merrill shoes. Only ugly athletic ones until this one style. bring back the Lorelei style

When I saw these shoes I was very hopeful that they would fit the same as my favorite shoe of all time which is no longer made by Merrell. The fit is strange and the back digs in and rubs my achilles tendon They are tight over my instep. I am very disappointed. I don't think a larger size will solve anything. I am returning them.

I concur with the other reviews that the back sits, too high. I like that they're low profile as I was going to wear them cycling, but they hurt to walk in. I'm normally 9-9.5 so ordered 9.5 & could've used a size 10, but am returning them.

The shoe was great with the exception of the back that was too high and hit the back of my ankle/Achilles tendon. I agree with the other reviews. I was surprised because I have a pair of Merrells that I love and was hoping this would be a good replacement. I am returning the shoe.
