Decent shoe and customizable: I wasn't sure about this shoe at first because the outside texture isn't what I was used to but once I realized these were made this way so you can draw on them with chalk it made sense. I love this feature because it gives me the chance to be creative and add my own designs, or let my kids make my designs that is. The little removable eraser is nice but I did notice it doesn't take away the drawing completely which is ok as I just took a wet napkin and wiped it and it came right off. The chalk colors seem to stand out pretty well against the black so if your intending you show off your artistic side this shoe is definitely what you need. The overall fit is true to size and pretty comfortable. I highly recommend getting these shoes if not for you then your kiddos because they will absolutely love being able to color and change up the design daily on these.

Great looking shoe that inspires creativity: My son loves these chucks! What's more fun than being able to customize your kicks? Being able to switch it up and change the designs from day to day with the chalk board-like material! Fit is also great (very comfortable my son says, after trying them on the first time he didn't want to take them off). Great pair of back-to-school shoes!

Cute and comfy: I got these shoes for my daughter to wear - she loves them! She is a creative, artistic soul and she is constantly coloring/doodling/creating art wherever she goes, so these shoes are just perfect for her. They're super cute too. The pic attached is from before she started personalizing the shoes. She and I both love that the shoes work well with chalk and have a fun eraser velcroed on the side of the shoe where the chuck taylor star normally goes. So fun. The shoes are easy to get on and off, seem like they're high quality, and are a very fun and unique design that my daughter loves.

Sunrise chucks: I thought these shoes were orange and yellow but they are coral and yellow. I made them work. I still love them.

Such a Fun Shoe: I love how classic and clean these kids shoes look out of the box. Even more exciting is that they can be drawn on using chalk. My son is so excited about expressing himself right on the shoe. The clever name of "Chalk Taylor" is brilliant. Just when you think Converse has thought of it all, they even made the logo patch in each shoe a chalk eraser! You simply remove the patch which velcros to the shoe and erase your creation to start again. These are definitely my son's favorite new shoe.

Such cool shoes: I was so excited to get a pair of Chalk Taylor's for my 10yo daughter to try out as she really likes high top sneakers. She was thrilled by them, especially with the fact that you can use chalk on them to draw designs, and they have a built in eraser attached by Velcro! They fit her really well, she found them very comfortable, and it was easy to draw on them with chalk. The eraser works okay, but realistically I would probably use a damp paper towel, because the chalk does leave a little film on when rubbed away with the eraser. I just used regular chalk but look forward to getting some chalk markers to make even better designs! And I love that we can erase them and draw a new design again and again! My daughter thinks they are so cool and I'm glad they fit so well.

Comfy Chucks: My 11yo daughter picked these shoes out for back to school, I never say no to chucks.. lol. She loves the way they fit, and has a little room to grow!
