The sizing on Fjallraven is a little tough to dial in. I’m 5’9 175 lbs with muscular legs and a size 50 is way too big in the waist and a 48 is a little small in the seat and crotch. I ending up getting the 48. Super good looking pant, but with a couple quirks. There are no rear pockets, and the leg cuff cinch is a bit fiddle. There seems to be too much nylon on the cinch, and I may cut it back once I get the sizing dialed.
Compared to other brands though, it’s a well engineering outdoor pant that actually looks good. It is far superior to REI house brand pants and more durable than the Prana Brion and Zion.

I got these for summer weight overlanding and backpacking pants. This is my 5th pair of Fjallraven pants in different versions. 2 KEB, ABISKO, VIDDA Pro, and now these Abisko Lite. All 44. All very different sizes in the waste. My vidda pro are a bit snug, 1 Keb is perfect and the other is snug, and these are massive. Be prepared to have to find one that fits in adjacent sizes. For a European based size, it's disappointing since all my other european clothes are also 44 and arent as variable across several brands.

Took a while to find the size I wanted. I'm 6'1" and a snug 34" w/ a 34" inseam. I ended up with the 52's after several returns and exchanges. Zappos was NOT helpful in this matter, especially with the exchanges. They transferred my returns into their gift cards and then would not refund my $$ once I finally settled on a size /color combination. After several interchanges with their CS, I ended up returning things just to see my $$ go back on the card and having to re-purchase them with the Zappos GC THEY made during the exchange. Overall, an inefficient system - and Zappos was surprisingly unhelpful and unwilling to work with me.
