These boots broke my heart. Love the style, so comfortable ... and so poorly made. It’s true that they are a little hard to get on and off, but that situation improved when they were broken in a little. But after a month of occasional wear, the sole on the inside of the heel (on both boots) started peeling off. Zappos has been great about this whole sad business ...
I would've loved to have kept these gorgeous boots, but since they did not have a zipper, I found them too hard to take on and off. Sad.
The stretch material was stiff and made the whole boot stiff. It also bunched funny by the ankle. I love Born boots, but this pair didn't meet the standard that I have come to expect.
The boots are great. However, I had to return them because I cannot zip up the calf section over jeans. Fits to skin only for me.
I love that boots! I get compliments every time I wear them. I have small calves, so struggle to find proper fitting boots. These aren't totally perfect in that category but very good. With tights they are slightly loose. With pants they're perfect.
Love the color- block look and suede.
My combination of high arches and wide calfs made it impossible to get my foot into the footbed. Cute boots, sad they didn't work for me.
This is a boot for another century, when ladies had a maid to dress them, because getting the boot off is an exercise. It is also narrow in a way Born has never been narrow. I'm accustomed to opening the box with Born boots and wearing them for the next three days with no problems. My kind of narrow feet actually cramped within seconds of putting the boot on. They are pretty, and the leather looks good. For those who can make it work, good for them.
These boots are very cute and stylish. The only problem is the lack of a side zipper.They are very difficult to get on and off. Back they go...
Love these boots. They are very comfortable and stylish. I almost didn't get them because of bad reviews. It is true that they are a little more snug to get off and on, so are better with tights than tight jeans for example, and they do run big as most Born shoes do. I always wear a size 6 and I would say these are a half size bigger than what I would normally wear but I kept them anyway because I liked them so much. If only they had a 5.5. Sigh.
