Unfortunately these have a very very wide calf with a huge gap:( won’t work :(

After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about buying these boots, but I'm glad I did. When I pulled them out of the box, the leather did feel a little stiff and I was concerned that there would be a break-in period. I wore them all day the day after I received them and didn't get one blister. As a matter of fact, at the end of the day I realized nothing hurt. So pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I'm so glad I stuck with my knowledge that I've never had an uncomfortable Born boot and bought these boots. They're great and I love them!

I love the quality and padding in the construction but didn’t really like the cowboy boot look and the leather will be easily scuffed. The strap on the back of one boot was stretched out.

I am a Born loyalist. Unfortunately, the zippers do not operated smoothly on either boot. It's a shame as I love these boots. I may give another pair a try to see if it was a fluke.

Love the fit and comfort. I can wear these all day.

Too wide in the calf.

I thought it was comfortable but it looked too distressed right out of the box. I wanted something newer looking. 5’3” and the height of the boot was good and not too wide in the circumference.

Ordered two Born boots same size and similar style. This one was smaller and tighter - I returned it.

I loved these but the calf was smaller than advertised, I have another pair of boots with a smaller calf and they fit perfectly. Disappointed because I really wanted to love them!

Beautiful boots! But something strange has happened to women's boot sizes since I bought my last pair of Borns about three years ago. My feet are still a size 9 like I was then. And those older size 9 boots still fit fine. I bought these 9.5 as an exchange for the size 9 of this same brand and style that did not fit. But these size 9.5 are still too small--I could get my feet inside but they didn't want to stay there--too cramped. They're almost half an inch shorter than my old Born size 9 boots. Finally, I got the 10s and they fit. This is crazy! The exact same size problems happened with the Timberland Banfields.
