Unfortunately, Dr. Martens are rather hit-or-miss with the sizing since they don’t come in half-sizes. I ordered both half-size up and half-size down (I normally wear a mens 9.5) and both just didn’t fit right. The 10 was slightly too large and the 9 was slightly too small. I thought that if I wore them a couple times around the house with thick socks like some suggest, they’d fit better and form to my feet better; however, that was not the case in my experience. I absolutely love the style but they just hurt too much to try and bear through the pain for the look :(

These are great ! I bought the regular version and sized down based on reviews and they didn't fit. When I went to reorder these were on sale and I'm short so I thought ....why not add some height. Just put them on they fit perfectly! Super comfortable. They are a bit heavier with the extra sole but not so much that I cannot walk comfortably. I walked around the living room and they have pretty great cushion. Can't wait to go out in these! Definitely will be buying more in my normal size which is an 8-8.5. I bought an 8. My feet are a bit wider than "regular" but I don't buy wide width shoes if that helps people decide on sizing.

Perfect sizing.

I like these shoes overall, but I decided to return them because they're too shiny for my overall style needs. They feel great and fit true to size. I wish Docs made a pair just like them, but with a padded tongue, padded rim around the ankles and a more natural leather look. Maybe some day in the near future?

These are perfection! I got my normal street size 8 and they fit perfect. The heel part is stiff so will need some protectors there and of course, time to break in. They are a bit heavy, but that’s to be expected for platform shoes. They’re easy to walk in, especially fora clumsy person like me! I can’t express how perfect these shoes are. Love the bubble toe, 5e shine is amazing and overall comfy so far. Can’t wait to wear these for many many years!

surprisingly much larger than our other pairs of Doc Martens in the same size that we usually wear. we could step out of these without even unlacing. The same day we also ordered a pair of Doc Martens chelsea boots in the same size, and they were too short. Not sure what is happening with the sizing. unfortunately we have to return both pairs.
