Сандалии Hurricane Xlt2 Ampsole

I love love love the regular Teva Hurricane sandals. The sole on them are like no other sport sandal I have ever worn. They have been my constant companion from Alabama beaches to the cobblestones of Rome. I ordered the Hurricane Ampsole hoping they would offer something similar in comfort and be cute with sporty dresses. In my opinion they look and feel clunky, and I don’t find them anywhere near as comfortable as the regular Hurricane.

Fit was fine but overall the look and feel was too bulky

Maybe my feet were swollen after the 12 hour flight but sadly, I developed horrible blisters. Wore them after a few days. They felt better but not enough since I would be logging 20K+ steps per day. Too bad because my old pair logged 25K the very first day without any issues!!!

The sole is not near as high as picture would indicate. I got the black and white where the sole is so large it acts as an outline around the entire foot. Strange to say the least. However they are comfortable, if I don't trip on width.

Wish I had returned these, I need them in a larger size. My toes reach the end and I think one size up would look and feel better. Still okay, but would hand them off to someone else that would wear them more.

I didn't keep them. They felt great, love that thick sole. But I decided on the regular Tevas, as the big boxy look, while adorable on someone younger, just didn't do it for me.

I hike and am an 80 yr old. This is my 2nd pair. Luv luv. 4 miles during the wk and 7 miles wkend. The only itty bitty draw back is occasionally the strap hits my little toe. Have had plantar fasciitis and the arch support is remarkable!

*I want to start this review by saying I am really grateful to Teva for their double-dog return policy when these Ampsoles broke while on my honeymoon. Had no idea about this return policy until I saw the credit that hit my account. Thank you Teva!!!* I was really looking forward to these after experiencing how cushioned my standard Midforms were I thought the Ampsoles would be the same, but with more grip. Unfortunately, I found the footbed to be stiff and rigid, and not soft and fluffy like my midforms. The firmer footbed took some getting used to, but around town they seemed to feel okay. On both on steep slopes and European cobblestones, the height of this shoe got me off center more than a few times. On a rockier cliff, I lost my balance and fell a few times but this is my mistake for bringing these to this type of descend. The final straw is when my strap broke, just from walking on the beach. Had to hike back up a cliffside barefoot, which was not fun, but definitely memorable. All in all, I would not repurchase the Ampsoles I would instead invest in a pair of Hurricane XLT3s, which is the model I chose to replace these with. Still a firm footbed, excellent grip, but with more manageable height for scaling different types of terrain.

I bought the green ones years ago and the tan ones last year. These are so comfy. Feels like I'm walking on a cloud. Please for the love of all things, please, bring back more colors!!! Please I want the pastel purple ones. Full color: straps and base. Not just the straps! I love that these are slightly taller and I prefer how the base of the shoe is designed and hugs your foot. I do not like the other shoes you offer; which are basically a foam block with straps. I would prefer more styles with this bottom/foot pad.
