Since the shoes are allegedly hand painted, I was expecting some inconsistency, but it looked more like sloppy stamping. For the price I expected a little better. The colors are gorgeous though. The construction is good but there's less arch support then I expected and almost no cushioning in the insole. Bought them for my wedding, hopefully they treat my feet well!

L’Artiste is without question my new favorite brand! These shoes are freakin’ GORGEOUS. I have a couple of pairs from this designer, and I love them all. Very comfortable and SO beautiful!!

I have been looking for lighter brown ankle boots for quite some time and just could not find the right style of fit. These are great! I’ve had then for about 9 months. I wear a US 8.5 and ordered a 39.

OMG—gorgeous booties. So gorgeous I already had the shorter ones in a different color. Decided I really didn’t need two pair of virtually identical shoes. That said, these boots are glorious and for once, not over-decorated. I wildly recommend these if you want boots that will absolutely get noticed but not look like they were done at a suburban crafts center.

The blue boots are very eye-catching. Initially the shoes felt like they had no arch support so I thought about returning them but decided to keep them, after all because they are unique and pretty. Unfortunately, the quality of the blue dyed leather is not up to par. The toe portion and the back of the heel got badly scuffed after I wore them just a couple of times. I've received several compliments and they get noticed, but it's too bad that they were practically brand new yet they look worse for the wear.

These are very well made and beautiful. I originally ordered in my normal size, a 9, but they were too big. I reordered in an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

As good looking as these boots are on, the top edge hits against the ankle, so it won't be possible to keep these. Sad.
