Ordered a 6.5 in navy, my usual size 90% of the time, too big, so I returned and currently waiting for the 6 to arrive( tried on in back at a local store to make sure I needed to exchange n not return). As someone with narrow feet I love the strap. Leather is soft and it looks like it will adapt to your foot
This is a gorgeous shoe that seems very comfortable. My issue is that the toe camp is very low, and my lowest no-show socks still showed through. If I didn’t mind wearing without socks, I would have kept, but I’m going to return and choose another shoe I know I can wear socks with.
Finally a ballet flat that stays on my high arch/instep foot.
Best ever! NO breaking in required at ALL - very very soft inside and no rubbing anywhere after taking out of the box and wearing for 8 hours straight. I just got 2 more pairs in different colors.

I just received the Greta Ballet Flat in red. So cute! I love the Mary Jane style, and the leather is very soft. This is my second pair of Madewell flats, and it won't be my last. Although the shipping took longer than usual, these cute shoes were worth the wait!
I have a wider foot and these didn't flatter them. I got my size (I can range from an 8 to a 9, got 8.5) and my toes were a full inch and a half from the tip of the shoe, so that was a bit weird. Also although the super soft leather is comfortable, it also means it's susceptible to creases and generally just kind of loses its shape. Such a shame because it's a really elegant, on-trend design. Returned.
This ballet slipper is very well made. The leather is exquisite. The band is comfortable. A medium fits more like a AA.
