The reflective lining does a great job of trapping body heat, making it surprisingly warm for its weight. I have long arms and have a hard time finding coats that cover my wrists. The arm length is perfectno awkward short sleeves or exposed wrists in the cold. Plus, the lined hood adds extra comfort and protection against wind and snow. After seeing a friend wearing hers, I ordered this jacket and have been highly satisfied! As a teacher with car rider duty, this jacket has no problem shielding the wind and cold air while I am loading kids.

Great for a cruise to Alaska: I bought this jacket to take on an Alaskan cruise this summer. It worked beautifully and was easy to pack. I bought one size larger to be able to wear heavier clothing underneath and I'm glad I did. I loved that the hood fit perfectly and didn't fall off my head like most hoods do for me. This is a great jacket for travel.
