Based on reviews, I ordered 1 pair in 31, my regular Levi's size, and 2 pair a size larger. The 31 would not go over my hips, one size 32 was too tight in the waist and one pair size 32 was perfect! Even if it took several pairs to get a fit, I Love the 501 style - they still have front pockets that one can reach into. The denim is not as thick as it used to be and the waistline is cut higher for a more modern fit. Thank you Zappos for easy returns.

I wanted a pair of straight leg, button fly jeans that aren't ripped and aren't cropped. For some reason that is hard to find, so when I came across these 501's they reminded me of my college years in the mid-80's when Shrink-to-Fit 501's were all everyone wore. If nothing else, I thought I'd try these as a bit of nostalgia. The size 28 fits me well; I'm 5'5" and fluctuate in weight between 125 and 128 lbs. I have a pair of Levi's cropped "New Boyfriend" ripped & distressed jeans that are a size 27, so I think these 501's run a little on the smaller side, which is probably because of the style of the jeans; the "New Boyfriend" jeans are supposed to be loose so the size 27 in that style doesn't surprise me. These jeans are not as soft as I remember the ones from the 80's, but maybe after wearing and washing them a few times the fabric will soften up. Overall, I like the style, I just wish the jeans weren't so "stiff."

The material (100% cotton) is great, but the fit is funky. Bunches up in the front crotch area and is not a slim fit through the thigh. Disappointing.

Loved them when I put them on but they got loose in one wear and didn't snap back much after a wash. Not the look I was expecting. Instead of going out jeans, they are my hang-out-at-home jeans.

Fit was true to size. Rise was nice and there was no gap in the back so nice for a curvy fit. Button fly is a nice feature.

The fit was absolutely perfect! I've missed Levi's with no stretch, and 501s are my favorites! They washed like a dream, no shrinking, and felt just like they did when I wore them years ago!

I purchased the soft black 501s, they have a butterfly. Great pair of Levi’s! No stretch I didn’t want any stretch and I’m so happy with this product. You can’t beat the price for a good pair of Levi’s. Soft black is a good color and will go great with a black turtleneck or a white blouse and black blazer. Very happy with this purchase!

You sent the wrong size and the wrong color

True Levi's in sizing and quality. I wear a 30 in Madewell but need to size up to a 32 in Levi's and I love them! The grey color is a great addition to my normal blue jean rotation. 10/10 would recommend
