I read that some people said order a half size larger. I own a pair of Trace 3 which I like very much, I looked at the size and ordered the same one. But others were correct - they are now making them smaller. to my dismay, I have to exchange these.....
Arch was good , but i have to wear insoles in any shoe i buy .so that helps too
Trace 4 has been all around average. At about 7000 steps and less than a year the heal tread is delaminating. The forefoot tends feel loose and floppy and the sole has unfortunate color grading that always looks dirty.
Left felt great, felt discomfort on right instep.
These have a roomy toe box which I like and the base feels good. However there doesn’t seem to be adequate support in this shoe which is odd because I can feel arch support inside the shoe. But the inner sides of the shoes (the fabric and the inner sole) actually collapse and wrinkle when I relax my foot. So not good for supporting and encouraging healthy arches. Perhaps they are just too wide for my low volume feet.
I have been wearing these shoes for a year now at the gym for cardio step, power pump, circuit , stability ball and interval training and I love them. Comfortable and durable besides lasting for a long time!
I wanted to love this shoe, but as someone who wears wide Brooks, the wide was not wide enough.
I love these Brooks. I mostly wear them for long walks but also run a little bit with my dogs. They are super comfortable and look great.
Just love these shoes! They are comfortable the minute they are on the feet!!
