My fav hiking boot: Best shoe for me. This is my 2nd pair. My first pair - I walked over 500 miles on the Camino trail from Lisbon to Santiago. Love this shoe.

I wanted to love these boots. They're sleek and stylish for hiking boots, and waterproof, which is just what I need. However, the toe-box felt narrow and my feet hurt in them when I wasn't on the move. After a little walking in them, I realized that they would likely not "break-in" enough to be comfortable.

These sneakers/light hiking boots are not worth their steep price tag. First of all, they look a little cheap, and worse… they seem cheaply made. The tongue is not padded, as it is in most good sneakers and hiking boots (another reviewer mentioned this before me). The top of the tongue also has a narrow relatively hard edge that digs into the shin above the ankle with every step when one moves/walks. The wide version is also super wide and runs 1/2 to 1 size larger than normal. Disappointing, in particular the cheaply made and uncomfortable tongue. I own several pairs of comfortable and aesthetically pleasing Oboz hiking boots. All are to my satisfaction, but not this one!

Love em!! I absolutely love my Women's Katabatic LT Mid GTX Waterproof boots. No break in period, they felt awesome right away. I was looking for something light for summer hiking but wanted good support/ankle support. These are perfect! They've added a spring to my step!

Size felt true. Very comfortable for a sneaker like feel while hiking.
