This seemed to do the trick, although, I would recommend easing your skin into using the product, as my skin felt a little burning sensation through continuous use in the beginning.
I have acne-prone combination skin. I used this when I was in high school over 10 years ago. Since then, I've experimented with many different toners. But I still gravitate back to this one! Helps with my acne in the summer and winter. Like other reviewers mentioned, it can be drying but I found that using a thicker moisturizer in the winter is an easy fix.
This stuff has way too much alcohol in it. I understand some may be in all cosmetics, but when it smells like youre using nail polish remover on your face, something is really wrong. Very drying and irritating
I have been using this and the acne solutions face wash. I started 2x a day but now only need to use at night. If I allow it to run out I start to get acne on my neck/jaw again but as soon as I start using again it clears up. I’m 44 and never thought I’d still need acne products but it keeps my skin clear and as long as I use moisturizer after my skin looks amazing and still glows, looks healthy.
It’s affective but drying. So hydration and moisturizer is required.
After using the 3 steps for a total of 2 weeks my acne/oily production went down severely. I had really bad hormonal acne/ cystic acne around my jawline, chin etc, this toner really healed it. Thdownside
Feels like rubbing alcohol, i havent seen any results from using it
Wow this product is AMAZING ive been getting bad hormonal acne and I was recommended this and let me tell you in 1 day I already saw less inflammation in acne by day two all my little pimples were basically gone!! I use it two times a day
Super drying. Not ideal for combination skin. I wouldn’t even recommend this for super oily either. You need natural oils to some degree. After using this I noticed many fine lines appear on my face. Smells super strong like rubbing alcohol. Basically strips your skin of all natural/necessary oils. On days I wear makeup, I will use this to double cleanse and ensure everything is off- otherwise, this product unfortunately didn’t live up to it’s hype for me.
