I’ve been using this product for close to a decade, and I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or if the product had been reformulated, but the most recent bottle has a thin consistency that does not hydrate my hair as well. I guess I’ll be on the hunt for a new conditioner :(
Makes my hair more dry somehow and ends knot up, expensive but poor quality.
I gave this product an honest try before writing this review. I just about finished the bottle and every time I have used it my hair ended up dryer and coarser than before. I’ve had so many tangled knots (even some that needed to be cut out), and my hair is not typically knotty.
The pump on this conditioner bottle (and it’s shampoo sister) don’t work. The conditioner dispenser lifts, but it won’t prime so no product comes out. Sephora refuses to exchange the product despite it being evident from reviews that this product line is subject to a manufacturing defect on the packaging. Disappointing on all accounts.
They changed the formula. I will not purchase it again.

I received this product in a mini size in a set. I really enjoyed the scent of this product - smells luxurious. It really moisturized my hair however I left it in for at least 5 minutes. Would recommend.
I have long straight hair with medium thickness (1B) and this is one of my favorite high-end haircare line. This conditioner is very well worth the price. It leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized. The scent is luxurious and not too strong. I tried the smaller bottle without the pump and it lasted me 3+ months. I usually prefer pumps but i like this squeezy bottle because it doesn't dispense too much conditioner each time.
I started using Caviar about 4-5 years ago and my hair finally grows for the first time in 45+ years!
Why is no one talking about how this smells like dog shampoo?? Do y’all not have pets that you bathe? It’s a wonderful formula, I would love to use it all the time, but I can’t get past the dog shampoo smell. It’s not a bad smell, just too reminiscent for me
