Protective Karité Confort Multi-Purpose Shea Butter

I know Sephora has no power over this but the once beautiful and unique packaging was changed as was the size (original 5.2 oz) and price increase - sigh. The company is doing a serious diservice to the original packaging (color and Braille writing) for those of us who admire beautiful packaging as well as a hard-working and effective product. Please change it back - we need beautiful things in our lives these days.

I literally could not live without this! I’ve been using African Shea butter for about 15 years. I was so happy when I found this organic, high quality Shea butter. I use it in place of moisturizer. During the day you just need the smallest amount so it’s not greasy under your makeup. At night, I use a thicker layer. My skin is soooo soft when I wake up! The texture is somewhere between Vaseline and butter. It’s thick, and can be used on your lips, I sometimes use it on my cuticles. I love that it’s not loaded with chemicals, so it’s guilt free when I’m moisturize my face.

Nothing compares. Expensive maybe, but I go through a tin every 6 months so worth it. I use it on my feet and have never had to use a credo blade. I want to tell everyone with nasty cracked feet to use this .

OK, I will start off by saying I never buy Loccitane products because they are so very expensive! But I was having some dermatitis on my hands and I saw a content creator say that this was the only thing that helped her so I figured it was worth a try. It really did work! Yes, it is expensive and it is annoying to use, but I only use it after I shower when my hands are very clean. I take a little bit of product and rub it between my hands to make it more creamy and then rub it to my affected areas. It lasts quite a long time and I’ve been on the same tin for months. I also love how convenient it is for travel. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Love! I have been using this over 10 years for my feet that get cracked. I put it on with socks. It would also work well for lips, elbows, etc. love that it’s just 1 ingredient, pure shea butter

I use this on all of my tattoos after taking the saniderm bandage off about 5-7 days after getting tattooed. It’s HEAVY so I use the tiniest amount but I love knowing what’s in it and I don’t have to worry about there being alcohol like most unscented lotions. This combined with saniderm, I will never use anything else. It’s also a great all around body moisturizer for the dry times.

I absolutely love this stuff! I get the worst cracked heels. It's so embarrassing. LOL Nothing has ever worked for me (other than soaking my feet every night, which is a pain). My mom suggested shea butter, and she was right. After applying nightly, the cracks have gone. I also use it to groom my eyebrows (they get wild as you get older). And, it's great as a lip balm and to keep my elbows moisturized. I've had it since Jan, and there's still a bit left, so it's lasted a while. Well worth it!

Yes, yes, YES. Dry people, rejoice. I am 41 with dry (DRY), sensitive skin, and this is a game-changer. After moisturizing, I warm about a fingernail's worth of product between my fingers and pat it into my skin. It is so soothing and keeps me hydrated throughout the day, which is no small feat. I wear this under makeup with zero issue. This is truly one of the best products I've ever purchased, and lucky for me, the tub is huge and will last me forever. Wonderful.

I have overactive bladder and was experiencing irritation from underwear liners. This refined shea butter is very soothing and protects against dryness. It's more comfortable than petroleum jelly. One star off because it's very expensive.
