Mixed Feelings Purple Leave-In Blonde Toning Drops

Holy. Grail. I have burgundy highlights and mixing a few drops of this into my leave in products when I use them keeps my hair from going orange. I've repurchased several times.

I chose the IGK DROPS in my Fab Fit Fun Edit Sale and am so glad I did! These drops work so amazingly well in my very brassy blonde hair! Just a few drops in my cream gel and voila! No more brassy tones!!! It’s like magic!!!

This stuff is the bomb! I googled how to care for your hair when you have well water/hard water, and I stumbled across a blog where this product was recommended. I’m so glad I found it! My fine, straight hair is overprocessed with high lift blondes and my well water makes it go brassy. I went to my hairdresser for lowlights to help mask the yellow and that helped a bit, but as I wash my hair daily and have well water, the brassiness inevitably returns. I’ve tried purple conditioners (Keune brand), but I didn’t get the results I wanted. I typically dislike salon toners between highlights because I feel like they either make my hair look dulled down or it gives my hair a slight green hue that I don’t care for. So I usually opt out of them altogether. Then I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a go. I’m disappointed I didn’t take a before pic but trust me when I say this works. Here’s what I did. I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo, rinsed clean, then I left an apple cider vinegar rinse on my hair for about 15 minutes. ACV helps reduce buildup on your hair, restores Ph Balance and helps to smooth the cuticle and gives a nice healthy shine to your hair. I used 1 part ACV to 2 parts water, let it sit for 15 mins, rinsed, then I towel dried my hair. Then I took about 6 drops of the IGK blonde toning drops and mixed it into a small amount of conditioner in my palm - just enough to coat all of my hair- and then coated my hair from the scalp to the ends. I let that sit for 15 minutes and then I rinsed and blow dried my hair as usual. Whoa!! The brassiness is GONE…it just made my blondes seem brighter and whatever yellow I had from the well water is no more, and it had no adverse affect on my lowlights whatsoever. If they stop making this, I will cry! I will be using this at least once a week to keep the brassiness out of my hair. I LOVE this stuff!

I have been using this for years!! At first I was not too impressed with it, but by now I have lost count of the amount of shampoos and conditioners that I have been able to turn into a purple/toning product with these drops. I love that I can choose a product for my hair needs without having to narrow it down to only purple shampoo options OR sacrifice the toning if you need something hydrating, for example. I mostly use it to add to my hair conditioner. I use Dae purple shampoo a couple time a week, head and shoulders on the other days but I ALWAYS use my toner drops in whatever bottle of conditioner I may have at the time. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs toning in their hair products. A little goes a long way, this stuff lasts for YEARS!!

This product works very well. I find with other toning products, I may not like how it works with (or against) my hair type. What makes these drops so wonderful is that you just mix a few drops in your palm with whatever leave in product you already know and love and then apply to your hair. Also, the container is very small, so it takes up barely any space in your beauty drawer. 100% recommend.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I put it in my shampoo, conditioner, hair serum and my leave ins. It’s difficult to get out of the bottle, but not impossible. YOU HAVE TO PUSH THE BOTTOM MULTIPLE TIMES TO GET THE DROPS. Stillgiving it 5 stars.

On my third bottle. This product is so versatile and easy to use and the results are stellar. It makes my natural grey that I'm growing out so icy white and free from any yellowing caused by hair products. Smells great. Does stain your hands so you need to wash them off right away. I mix this in my hair oils and hair creams when styling just to brighten up my natural grey around my edges.

I really love this product! While it isn’t completely life changing, it keeps my hair from turning orange (which it tends to do) so I’ll definitely keep using it. Getting the product out is a bit of a pain, I wish the dispenser was easier to use. Other than that, it’s a great addition to my hair care routine!

Ok I love this, I would say that I use more than the directions suggest. Like ALLOT more, so I wish the bottom portion was easier to squeeze but it really makes my blonde hair refreshed.

I wanted to love this because of how convenient it is but it doesn’t do much for my hair as for toning. I probably won’t repurchase this and wait for the IGK blonde pop to come back in stock.
