Hollywood Contour Wand

I rarely write reviews, but this experience left me too frustrated to stay quiet. I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand for nearly $50 (a real splurge for me considering I am in college). I was genuinely excited after hearing all the reviews but almost immediately I noticed something was off: the package came practically half empty. I've used it once a day, very sparingly, yet I'm already on track to run out in a matter of weeks. For comparison, my roommate has the exact same product, uses it more than I do, and still has double the amount left that I do. So I did the reasonable thing and reached out to Charlotte Tilbury directly. Their response? Essentially nothing. They explained away the airspace in the tube and then pointed me to Sephora, saying it was their problem to handle. When I went to Sephora, I was told there was nothing they could do either because the product was technically purchased through a department store. I don't mind that a product occasionally has an issue, nothing perfect. What I mind is spending nearly $50 on something that arrived half full and then being met with a complete refusal to take accountability from anyone. No replacement, no refund, no real acknowledgment. Just "not our problem." I genuinely wanted to love this brand, and the product itself is nice when I do use it. But a company with this reputation and this price point should stand behind what they sell and be willing to help a customer who came to them in good faith. I really hoped for better, and I'm sharing this so other shoppers know what to expect if something goes wrong.

This blends very well on my older skin, even without makeup base. I’m fair and this looks very neutral. Add a touch of blush and I look alive

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] While I loved the product overall, the shade that I was sent was too dark for me. I received Tan-Deep when I’m more of a Medium or Medium Tan. When testing it, however, it blended pretty effortlessly. I will be buying in my shade.

This is a good product don’t get me wrong but it runs out so fast and is not worth 40$! I would get the E.L.F dupe it’s only 8$ and at Ulta

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I do not like the packaging of this contour wand at all. This was so hard to squeeze the product out! I do like the easy way you can apply this to your face but you need a makeup brush to blend it in. It’s a very long lasting product.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was so impressed by this contour wand. It’s so easy to use and goes on creamy but blends out perfectly. I love that it brings and nice glow without being too overpoweringly dark it wore really well and again just really impressed by how easy it was to use and I left the feature for it to lock closed so that way you’re not over dispensing and you can just squeeze a little bit up every time you need to use it.

It has good pigmentation. The idea is good, but it needs improvement. It leaks and creates a mess all the time, and since I travel a lot, the packaging clearly wasn’t designed for movement. It spilled inside my things and spread product everywhere. So it ends up wasting a lot of product and making quite a mess.
