+Retinol Vita C Power Serum

Holy moly! I mixed a sample packet into my daily moisturizer and have been using it for about a week. I completely forgot about it until my husband was looking at me when I didn't have makeup on and said my face was "glowing", and "my skin looked really good". Now, normally I'd be offended, but I'm going through perimenopause and have been complaining nonstop about how horrible my skin has been lately. This serum has definitely done everything it's claimed in such a short period of time! My skin DOES look glowly, it's softer, clearer, skintone has evened out, and I feel dark spots have even faded. I'm a believer! Definitely going to purchase a full size bottle!

I’ve been using this for years without issue so I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. In most instances, retinoids WILL make you peel at first. The trick is to start slow and low - 1-2x per week OVER your moisturizer, and ONLY once it causes no irritation you can switch to under moisturizer. I go retinol serum, hyaluronic acid serum, eye cream, then moisturizer. DO NOT APPLY RETINOIDS TO YOUR EYE AREA EVER. This can cause major irritation and over time, lid retraction. Never ever ever combine with AHAs/BHAs. Use them on different nights. Personally I find this the most agreeable, gentle retinol I’ve used. Probably won’t repurchase anytime soon since the price has become outrageous. For a cheaper alternative, the ordinary retinol + squalane is great.

i had a deluxe mini sample of this product and it’s fabulous. i mainly used it on my under eye area and it seemed to brighten and even out those parts overtime. never had issues with this product and i hope to afford the full size eventually. (:

I’m sad to see so many negative reviews from people who are first time users of more serious acids. You definitely need to start with a small amount and absolutely (obviously) diluted with an active free skin cream before applying. It does state on the directions as well not to use with AHA‘s. as the direction state start using one night a week and if reaction occurs, dilute more and work yourself up I don’t have a strict regimen, I go with what my face needs that I usually use this product less than once a week, but when I do, my skin is absolutely glowing if I have any uneven skin texture or dryness peeking through, I will apply to these areas and the next morning, I will be able to exfoliate them away easily. It is an amazing product with a great smell. Be sure to wash your hands well after applying. I got this at a discounted price and months later I’m still kicking myself for not purchasing more as it’s in a fully sealed component and it says 12 month after morning ( I also keep in the fridge. ) also if you are skin cycling like me or being “Intuitive “with your skin do not use this consecutively with a retinol treatment before or after and be sure to wear sunscreen during the day

For the price, there are better products out there. I found one pump didn’t work on covering my face and neck adequately while other products do. I didn’t notice much difference after using it for 3 weeks. I will not purchase again.

Great serum! Makes my face so smooth. I fell in love the first time I tried the sample I received but wish either they made a smaller or it wasn't so pricey. a little goes a long way but it's really pricey.

Love this serum. A bit pricey but got it in sale. Always have exceptional results with Kate Somerville products and this one definitely delivered. Makes my skin so soft and smooth. Wake up with bright and energized skin. Used to using retinol so didn’t go through the drying phase with this.

I am obsessed with this product. Might I say I like it more than the moisturizer… but good thing I don’t have to pick. I use both together because it activates each other meaning quicker result!
