Glide Smoothing Hot Brush

The brush didn't work for me. I have a lot of curly hair. They make my hair smoot! yes! But the brush is really big and thick. I have to use other tool for my roots. You don't need this brush. You can buy a better hot brush in Amazon for better price. GHD is a great brand. But they need to make a smaller brush.

I have long curly hair to my mid-back that is a 3B - 3C mix comprised of coarse, dense strands. I've only used it once so far, but I was pleased with my results. Usually with a flat iron it takes up to 2 hours to get my hair straightened, but I was satisfied with my results in 30 minutes with this hot brush. It didn't give me the smoothest finish the way a flat iron does, but I was okay with that. I was even able to use it to curl my ends so they flip out, so I'm excited to use this device more and get more skilled at it.

I have very thick, curly, frizzy hair and I live in the humid state that is Florida so YMMV. I was hesitant to buy this due to the price point but my flat iron was just too time and energy consuming to use daily. I waited until I’ve had this for a couple weeks to review it. One thing I wish it had was a temperature control. On its description, it goes up to a temperature of 360 F and for reference my old Chi iron would go up to 390. If I could, I would make this temperature higher. As it is, it does not make my hair totally straight just slightly less wavy, however, I see many reviewers say it is too hot for their (presumably thinner) hair. Again, due to my hair type (think the kind that if I brush it when dry it turns into a ridiculous puff), it does add a lot of volume, so I have had to be creative with products I use when using this to avoid that. All in all, though, I have been using this every day for two weeks now and have put away the old flat iron. Would recommend with those above things in mind.

[Employee of sephora] Powerful tool. It does a great job smoothing over my wavy hair. The only thing I don’t like is the smell that comes out once the brush gets hot. It also transfers some to the hair. About 3 months after purchasing it starts to fade

Definitely not worth the $$ for me. Didn’t do a good job. I have highlighted curly hair. Didn’t make my hair smooth nor did it straighten my hair nicely. The brush is too big and thick, hard to use..

I've only used this product once and I already love it. I've always had frizzy, curly hair and I've never straightened my hair before. This brush won't give you super flat hair like when using a flat-iron but it'll make your hair straightener, get rid of friz, and will give you a more natural look. Make sure to wash and completely dry hair, comb to get rid of any tangles, use heat protection, and apply oil to hair after straightening to keep it healthy.

Not terrible but really nothing special. It’s a nice product for smoothing out day 2 hair but the benefits just aren’t worth it at this price point. I found it make the ends of my hair look odd. My hair felt flat after using it ododdoodd.lookooddweird.hawound

I bought this brush to help with hair straightening and my mom ended up taking it from me instead...she loves how fast it works and long her hair STAYED straight!! Worth the price. One warning, its hard to clean. you need a soft brush or cloth that can get between the teeth since they don't bend or move.

I’m a bit disappointed as I thought this would work much better as it’s advertised for curly hair. It’s faster than a straighter but it catches on every tangle so it takes a while to brush your hair first then use it which adds to the frizz factor. I also think the button is in an awkward place, I keep hitting it by accident. If you have slightly wavy or straight ish hair I’d say it’s a shoe in, not so much for proper curls

I've been using this for a couples of month. This is my first hot brush. I think it does a great job. The only thing I'd mention is that if you really want straight hair, you'll need to use an actual straightener because this doesn't do the job. However, now, I personally like having mi-straight, mi-curly hair. The brush gets hots quite quickly and it take me about 30 min to do my whole head.
