The brightening serum helps me look awake and refreshed by the morning after a long night of no sleep. I have personally used this on specific days when I need it. I add this during my morning and night routine before my face cream. It is a little bit more a of serum consistency instead of a liquid substance. It really helps brighten all throughout!
Amazing. Best for sensitive skin that brightens and shrink pores. I love it! My skin is glowing. Works great for my skin. Using one serum won’t do it double it up for better results. I tried this serum and have to say that it made my skin even drier. I couldn’t understand how this could be with such a high price tag then I looked at ingredients and saw alcohol quite high up on the ingredients. I do not have sensitive skin at all. Honestly this did nothing positive for my skin. If anything negative results making it drier and I don’t like fragrance in my skin care products. I surely wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!! Very disappointed!
This serum has been a game changer for my skin. It has reduced redness and evened out my skin tone! The only negative thing I could say about it is the name.. “brightening” serums generally target hyperpigmentation and this does nothing for that.. but if you are looking for a magical everyday serum that helps you achieve glowing skin without makeup than this one is for you!! Please Dr Sturm never stop making this one!
I have olive skin that is generally in good condition, but I do have some areas of hyperpigmentation. I used this serum religiously every night, hoping that it would lighten some of these areas, but I can't say it did. I didn't expect a miracle, but my hyperpigmentation didn't change in the least nor did it look any different once I finished using the entire bottle, so I've concluded that it does nothing.
I was searching for a brightening serum that’s ingredients were not solely based on vitamin C, when I found this serum and saw that it brightens the skin without using vitamin C or harsh ingredients I decided to try it. Y’all, this serum is LEGIT! The formula is so gentle I even use it under my eyes to help get rid of dark circles and it works! No fragrance and it leaves no residue behind, it’s expensive but I don’t even care because it works!! 1000% recommend!
Within a week of using, got actual compliments about how bright and glowing my complexion was. Not sure about how well it would do with evening skin tone or smtn like that, but leaves you absolutely radiant.
Use this in conjunction with the cleanser, enzyme cleanser, light face cream and eye cream. My husband tells me I have never looked better.
Save your money. Been using this for over 2 months now and no visible difference in my skin. I have hyperpigmentation from acne and was hoping this would help with the marks but sadly disappointed. The upside to this product is that it is hydrating- but that’s not what I bought it for! It also is on the thick side for a serum, more like a thin lotion and it comes in a dropper style bottle and I find it to be way too clumpy as it dispenses. I feel like the Barbara Sturm packaging team decided the esthetics were more important than actually coming up with an appropriate bottle design. Also if you follow Barbara Sturm on IG you will notice that this Brightening line is not at all heavily marketed, make sense bc it doesn’t work!
