Had it for only 2-3 years before it fritzed out and BURNED the front pieces of my hair. It burned them so bad that I had to cut ugly micro bangs. Super disappointed and would not invest in dry bar ever again.
This straightener is amazing! It did no damage to my hair and makes it look so straight! It did not pull on my hair either, it was very smooth! I received it complimentary from Drybar but I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to buy!

Product was gifted by Drybar. As a curly girl who straightened their hair almost daily for the past 10 years I really like this flat iron. It’s has a super quick heat up. The plates don’t have that weird gap in between- it applies good pressure to hair without pulling or ripping.
My original tress press finally needed to be replaced and Sephora had the new one on sale. I hate to say it, but it's not great. It heats up relatively quickly. It pulled on the hair instead of the hair slipping through the plates, like there was some sort of drag on it. I do not use styling products so there was nothing in my clean and just dried hair. Maybe it will get better but I'm kind of bummed out that they changed it.
I loved it while it worked - heats up so quickly and you can adjust the temperature to lower heat which I prefer! However, I bought this because the cord was so thick and it appeared to be high quality so I assumed it would last a long time - somehow inside the cord the electrical has malfunctioned and it no longer turns on at all. I’ve had it for about 1 year and don’t even style my hair often (mom life). Will never buy DryBar again. I absolutely do not recommend for this price!
