This was a surprisingly delightful find. I received a free sample, tried it once, and immediately ordered the full size. The scent is undeniably strong, but to me, it’s delicious – like a coconut-banana milkshake. On my porous hair, it actually lingers all day, which I love. The real magic, however, is in how it hydrates. My hair is naturally coarse, dry, and porous. It usually feels like a parched desert shrub haha~ If I skip even a day of brushing, it immediately tangles into dry knots and snarls, and combing it becomes a tearful ordeal. After using this mask, it’s as if a long-awaited rain finally fell – the desert blooms, and my hair “turned green and blossomed” in celebration! I know there’s a version of this mask specifically for fine hair, but this one worked perfectly for me, even though my hair leans toward the finer side. So I’ll stick to this version.

I have fine hair, which gets matted very easily, so I'm constantly looking for ways to moisturize my hair without making it look greasy. I usually don't find hair masks more effective than conditioner, but I was SO pleasantly surprised by this one! I really only left it on for 5 minutes, and my hair felt so luscious and moisturized, I was able to skip parts of my hair routine (leave in conditioner) that are usually ESSENTIAL. I continued to feel the effects of the mask even after my next hair wash a couple days later. I personally enjoy the smell and texture, but really, all I care about is whether it works or not, and this mask delivered for me!
