Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Detangler

I was skeptical as someone with thick, curly, coarse hair. I don’t want toxic ingredients in my products, nor buildup on my hair. This is absolutely amazing. Both my husband and I use it after our shower on damp hair, then we finish with a light layer of 100% argan oul. My hair has never been softer and I don’t feel that there’a a residue mmmucking up my pillowcase. Hair is a bit more stiff but curls are beautiful!

I've purchased this a few times and enjoy it in my routine. I like to wash my hair almost daily and I use this as a first step out of the shower. If I chose to, I then layer this with my other products. I enjoy the simple and gentle formula with no fragrance. Because of this, I'm able to use this closer to my roots without any irritation. Simple and makes my hair feel soft!

I use briogeo hair care religiously but this product is not it. The smell is not bothersome but the product itself is bad. The formulation is the thickest I’ve ever seen for a detangler. For my hair, it does not detangle it whatsoever with using a reasonable amount of product. This causes me to use more product but then that weighs down my hair and curls. It truly works more as a leave in conditioner than anything else. I am trying to make myself get through this bottle to give it a fair shot, but I would not purchase this product again in the future unless something was changed about its formulation.

i have a super sensitive scalp and the leave ins i was using before had way too much fragrance in them (ouai and function of beauty). bottle design is just ok, not the best but not terrible. i think this is a solid leave in for sensitive scalps, although i kinda feel this one isn't as hydrating as the green leave in briogeo has. overall i like this!

Only product that works good my thin tangled hair! I have repurchased this product 3 times and will continue to use!

I like the product, but the sprayer needs improvement. Sprayed fine at first, and now it just had a jet stream if anything comes out at all. I've tried cleaning it, even ran hot water through the sprayer itself, and still won't spray right. I have this issue a lot with the thicker milky type hair sprays like this.

I have fine hair. During the pandemic I let it grow out, to the middle of my back. I've kept it long, but find at times it tangles at the ends. This Briogeo product has no fragrance I can detect, but very effectively, untangles my hair every time with gentle combing. Without it, I would have to cut my hair to a more manageable length. I hope you continue to offer it at Sephora.

I’ve been using this product for a couple months now. And it does not detangle my hair. I do have curly hair so I use it on days I want to straighten but I’m really not enjoying it. I don’t find it soothing at all.

This thing works like magic!! I always thought that “detangling sprays” were a myth because all that I’ve used so far did nothing. I have very straight, tangly hair, and it’s so damaged because of how tangly it is that brushing it is a daily fight (especially after showers when I air dry without brushing while wet). This helps detangle my hair so wonderfully, it’s like magic. I also accidentally sprayed some right in my eye and it didn’t burn at all; definitely speaks volumes on how gentle the ingredients truly are. Get this!!!
