The product itself gets 4 stars from me, but this was the second time that I’ve ordered this item and it arrived with a broken seal, moldy, and foul-smelling. My other skincare products from Sephora don’t have this issue (and I order a lot of skincare from Sephora). I think it’s something specific to the packaging with this skinfix product. When it arrives completely sealed, it’s great! It’s like the glue or something isn’t adhering correctly on the orders with the broken seal, and the product is therefore ruined and unsafe to use. Sephora replaced the first skinfix jar that arrived moldy back in November of 2023, but I was outside of my 30 day return window on this most recent moldy jar. I’ll stock up on favorites when they’re on sale, so I didn’t open the newest jar until I ran out of my existing product. I don’t blame Sephora for that; policy is policy. But now I’m out $50. It’s the exact same issue as the first faulty jar 3 years ago and I only order this product maybe 4 times a year. So, that’s like an average of 1 out of every 6 skinfix resurface+ jars arriving moldy, which isn’t great. After seeing other recent reviews with the same issue, I think it’s clear that I just need to switch products.

Like others, once I opened mine, I saw that it was spoiled. I purchased mine in store and will return and will not repurchase
Was excited to try this and for the price thought must be good. Opened up and was soooo bummed to see brown with white spots. Not good nor ok to use! (I sent pic along with my issue and she said to either toss or toDONATE I said oh no that’s not safe to use). Was sent another one as a replacement and to my surprise another bad one!
I really wanted to like these toner pads, but I couldn’t get past the smell — it was very unpleasant and made the product hard to use. The texture of the pad itself was fine, but the scent lingered and made me not want to reach for it again. I didn’t notice enough results to make up for the experience. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me.
Purchased this today from a store, opened to find the protective seal detached and rusted/discolored aluminum? Im not sure, but the top few pads were dry as well, quality control issue. Disappointed.
I am so bummed! I figured after all of the negative reviews about the pads being dried out, they would pay more attention! Nope! Lid wasn’t even screwed tight and pads were completely dry! I really wanted to try these!
I use the pads for my body - during my period or multiple days of heavy workouts / sweating, I usually get body acne all over. (Chest, back, arms, etc) This product, paired with the Skinfix 2% BHA, (I use in shower as dual body wash) is a holy grail and tames any breakouts right away. I don’t really use it for my face - solely body, but I can tell a HUGE difference during body breakouts when I use this versus when I don’t. 100% recommend
Bought it the first time and there was no liquid product left but the pads still had a bit. It worked nicely. Bought it again and it was all dried out pads no product whatsoever. Please fix this
I had a hormonal acne breakout on my chest and a Sephora employee recommended these to me. It cleared everything up in a week and a half! I recommend these to anyone who is struggling with body acne. I wouldn’t use on my face because they seem a bit too strong but they work great!
This is my first time ordering these and the seal was broken to the container. It has a very strong off putting smell. I’m not sure if that’s normal or because of the broken seal.
