Too old, gone bad
Seems like a good hair oil, has a fairly silicone-y texture without actual silicones. Not the lightest but doesn't look greasy on my hair in the right amount. However, it smells bad like the plant oils in it have gone rancid. According to older reviews it should smell nice. Must be old product which I'm sure is why it's on sale. No date on it to check. Sephora is always doing this, watch out.
