Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara

I have unfortunately had allergic reactions 3 times from this mascara. The first time I used this mascara a few times with no problem. Then one day I had puffiness, redness and soreness on my eyelid. I was suffering from a bad sinus infection simultaneously and my dr put me on a few medications (nasal spray, a cough syrup and eye drops) since my eye irritation was when I was under the weather, I thought maybe it wasn’t the mascara. I did throw it out per recommendation of my dr since I used it while sick. I decided I would give this mascara a try years later. I used my points to get a sample in the brown color. Again, I had a poor reaction. But this time it stained my upper eye lid lash line brown. That area felt sore and was puffy. No idea why I thought this was a good idea, but I wanted to see again if it truly was the mascara. So I tried it out a 3rd time and had the worst reaction out of all of them. My right eye was extremely irritated. The soreness and puffiness was really bad. My eye would not stop watering!! Im really sad bc I do think it looks nice on (until I get puffy lol). Because I’ve had this severe of a reaction to this product, I won’t be purchasing from rare beauty anymore for fear I may have a similar irritation from another product.

I purchased this after using the filter function on the app searching for waterproof mascara - it is the first option that showed up for me. I liked that it was brown and, according to the search, waterproof. After using for a month I can say with certainty that it is not waterproof, and confirmed that by going back into the product listing and re-reading. It’s not the product’s fault that Sephora has it listed as waterproof, but even if I weren’t looking for a waterproof mascara, I still don’t like it. The applicator/brush sucks - it holds so much product. It’s clumpy on the lashes. It pills up easily under the eyes.

omg im so glad i tried it for myself! It goes on smooth, doesn’t clump or flake and makes my lashes super long! Black is dark but doesnt look unnatural. Loveeee it so much! And its cruelty free!

Genuinely the best mascara I’ve ever used. I’m active duty Army and it lasts all day in the heat, doesn’t smudge, doesn’t flake and it makes my lashes so long and full. It’s even easy to get off! It checks every box.

Love love love this mascara!! It does not flake or smudge. Lasts all day-even through tears (and I am a crier), On more than one occasion I’ve been asked where I got my lashes done. Nope-just a fabulous mascara!!

This is one of the clumpiest mascaras I've used. It left massive blobs of mascara on my lashes even if I was very careful with the wand. Once on and clumps removed it looks nice but not worth the trouble .

I really wanted to like this mascara, but all the clumps make it hard to. It's awful.

I love this mascara and will rebuy it till the end of time. The brush is excellent, the formula is awesome and quickly covers the lashes, and it last for a long time. I would loveeeeeeee a brown shade!!! Keep em coming Selena!!

Loved this mascara since it was first launched but they obviously changed the formula and increased the price almost 25%. It used to last 2-3 months, build like a dream and gently melt off in the shower. Now it’s dry and barely lasts a month. Rough on lashes to remove. Not worth $24.
