I am severally allergic to phenoxethanol and in my excited to try a product that might finally help with my curly hair, and is safe for me, I used as a detangler as soon I got it in the mail. Little did I know, it had not been updated and now I have contact dermatitis
I’ve been following the creator and CEO Whitney for a very long time. So when she came out with her own hair care product I was all in. I love this Maltese conditioner because it is wonderful for post shampoo. And I’m pretty sure you can use it with other shampoos because it just adds the softness and the moisture back into your hair. It’s always smell good. It smells exactly the same when she first came out with the product. It feels exactly the same when she first came out with the product and my hair feels wonderful. The one thing users have to understand about themselves as we age our body changes and so do our follicles. And depending on your environment, what you eat, if you live in a humid versus a dry climate, it’s gonna make a difference, possibly how this product deals with your hair. I will say this. Anytime I’ve gone to a different product line and I don’t like how my hair feels or it looks and feels limp or overly dry and I then come back to this product, my hair always bounces back. So for me this product is a 12 out of 10. I wish her products were always available, but I respect the fact that she does small batches and that it has not been taken over by big corporations. And I pray that it always stays that way because it keeps the integrity of the product. Five stars all day every day for all of the product products in her product line. They must buy.!!!❤️❤️
This is a good product, the versatility of it makes it a solid addition to a haircare lineup - the scent is overpowering. I found ir ro be too strong (very medicinal/mint), it lasts until the next wash. Despite using hair perfume, you still smell it. This is personal preference and I will be returning this.
I like this product so much. It has a wonderful and gentle smell. The product penetrates the hair and leaves it plump. But i have yet to find gel it mixes well with, it always leaves residue.

This is probably the best conditioner I've ever used. It is so hydrating and is amazing with detangling in the shower. Also leaves your hair so soft and hydrated. I used it less as a leave-in but it works amazing as that as well. This ALWAYS gives me soft, hydrated curls.
I did like the way the leave-in performs but I had to throw it away because my husband said it smells really bad. I was going the smell would fade the next day, but it didn’t.
This product was my holy grail. I have type 4 hair (mostly 4c) and my hair drinks this right up. I love using this after shampooing to detangle my hair under running water and it creates amazing slip. The scent is light and slightly minty. It’s moisturizing while also not weighing down my hair. But I gave it 3 stars because it’s almost always out of stock. This would be a forever staple in my routine but the lack of consistency is frustrating.
