Lactic Acid AHA Exfoliating Serum

I’ve used several AHA products and exfoliants; this by far is a Ferrari of its kind. The way it smoothed my skin and left it noticeably radiant both overnight and even more so in a month’s time that vitamin Cs retinols and other exfoliants could not provide. Do I still use those products? Absolutely. But this is the supplement that makes the biggest difference coupled with Shani’s Azelaic Acid. This is 10/10

I can’t describe how this product have changed my life .You see result at least two weeks of using the product and I have very sensitive skin. You can start with this Lactic acid bc is very gentle .

this was my first product from this brand so i was super excited to try! the packaging felt very expensive. the serum doesn’t have a strong scent and i felt after a couple uses i could definitely tell a difference in my skin

I wanted to try this for some hyperpigmentation and acne scars. I've been impressed with the overall appearance of my skin since I started using this. I use it about every other day at night only and Ive noticed smoother skin and some darker patches of skin are looking much better. Overall happy with the improvement. Its easy to incorporate into my routine and no issues with sensitivity.

This is a super thin consistency. It has a silky feel to it as well. It’s feels good on my face too. It’s not cakey or greasy and absorbs in seconds. A little goes a long way and two pumps is definitely enough.

This serum is perfect to use on your off-nights from retinol! My skin has been looking a little dull in the last few weeks, but after I added this serum into my nightly routine my skin has been looking brighter! I also have noticed fading in a dark spot I have on my hairline that I have been trying to get rid of for almost a year. I use two pumps and it completely covers my face and neck. The serum has a lovely texture and absorbs into my skin quickly.

This serum was great with gently exfoliating my face and making my skin smoother and brighter. I think the lactic acid is gentle while still being effective. I feel like this would even be safe for people with sensitive skin. But I would always test it out first! The hyaluronic acid and aloe vera helped to keep my face nice and hydrated!

I was very excited to try this Shani Darden Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum as I had been reading excellent reviews. However I feel like this was just a bit too potent for my skin at this time. It is somewhat runny consistency wise and white in color when you pump it out. Turning more clear and shiny as you rub it into your skin. It is recommended to wait 5 minutes before applying moisturizer and in that time it "dries" on to the skin more than absorbs and leaves behind a tacky finish which honestly is fine as I apply moisturizer afterwards and the tackiness goes away. My skin is normally very product friendly but every once in a blue moon, a product comes around that my skin reacts to. I believe this is one of those products. The first application was completely fine. Woke up to happy looking skin. With further usage, the skin on my nose started to tighten and then crack. It eventually peeled off, leaving behind red, tender skin. Even after dropping down usage and avoiding my nose, I've decided to discontinue using this serum. I will try again when my skin barrier is repaired in the event something else has caused this issue as the rest of my face looks and feels fine.

This product unfortunately made me breakout with red spots all over my face. I do not recommend this product if you have sensitive skin. I immediately broke out in hives looking bright red spots

Made me break out all over. Redness and bumps so itchy only tried once. I’ve never had this happen with any product.
