I received this product for free from La Mer for testing and review purposes. I'm no stranger to using higher end skincare brands, but this was my first time using a La Mer product. My skincare routine is pretty solid, but I'm always looking for additions or to swap something out. Unfortunately for me personally, this product was not worth it. I don't feel that it added anything and I couldn't tell a significant difference. The fragrance was pleasant, and my skin did not react negatively from it. After reading other reviews, I realize I am in the minority, but for me I just didn't see enough of a difference to warrant spending that much money on a full-sized product.

I have dry skin and it is not sensitive, but this product somehow makes it feel drier and stings around my eyes, nose and mouth. I really don't think it's made for dry skin. It's just too weak to be effective. It's about as moisturizing as my rose water spray that I use after my makeup because setting sprays are too drying. However, it does smell nice and I think it will be a good moisturizer for folks with oily or normal skin.
