Mini AFRICAN Beauty Butter- Intensive Dry Skin Treatment

What you would expect from a shea butter product! Very moisturizing, and after being rubbed in it leaves a very slight sheen (I rubbed it on the hand without scabs). Smells mostly like shea butter (which can be a polarizing smell if you are not familiar with it). The smell fades some after about a minute. I’m going to use it as my nighttime lotion because it’s so moisturizing.

Smells amazing. Hard consistency until warmed up it turns into an oil. It is not very hydrating and doesn't penetrate the skin barrier.

This is an ointment, not a cream. It was too greasy to use on my hands and face. After leaving it in a drawer for a few months, winter arrived and I found the perfect use for it - on my dry, chapped lips! It works great to soften and moisten them and lasts much longer on my lips than lip gloss. I ordered two more tubes just for my lips.

So rich and powerful. I love this product and have repurchased the minis many times. You use up every bit of it!! They’re the perfect size for your bag. The bigger tube is a staple of my nightstand for using on my feet before bef. The chucks always dissolve when I rub them in.

This cream literally turned out to be my last hope. My hands are very dry all year round, and in winter it gets worse due to a cold allergy. They are inflamed, and the skin cracks until it bleeds. After a couple of days of use, my hands healed and became moisturized!

I got a free sample of the vanilla honey and it was a great texture. Ok smell. I ordered the lavender mint, and I’m so glad I did! A much more appealing scent for me, I’m not big on vanilla. Y  es, it can be greasy if you use too much. I use a tiny amount for my hands and it’s perfect. Soaks in, not greasy and is just amazingly hudrating. I love it.

I recently tried this hand cream for dry skin. I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, but I really liked how thick and nourishing the formula felt. It’s definitely on the heavier, more oily side, which makes it perfect for applying before bed. While it’s not my absolute favorite hand cream, I’d consider purchasing it once I finish the others I have.

TL;DR: Very moisturizing hand & body butter with a beautiful, strong (but not cloying or too overpowering) floral scent that lingers. Has a thicker consistency that leaves an ever so slight, balmy film as it's absorbed into the skin - noticeable but not slimy, greasy, or tacky. Great when applied after a foot scrub. Also makes a fantastic DIY foot mask with a pair of socks. Highly recommend for those with dry or very dry skin (unless you're sensitive to fragrance or do not care for floral scents). WHAT I LIKE: * Beautiful floral scent - not cloying or too overpowering (at least not to my nose) but it is prominent & does linger (in a good way) * Absorbs quickly on my dry skin, not tacky or sticky (but see FYI) * Very moisturizing AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * None, as previous challenges with dispensing product from the tube seem to have been resolved 👍🏼 * Would love to see this scent (and others) as a candle and/or body oil. Or, as an additional scent in the body wash line. FYI: * If you're sensitive to fragrance or do not care for floral scents, this will be a pass for you * I applied it along my shoulders & décolletage area before putting on my coat one day. When I reached for the same coat a week later, I could still smell the scent. * I purchased a variety travel set of these body butters when they first launched in 2021 & found that it slightly challenging at times to dispense product from the tube. Was happily surprised to try this again, this time as part of a gratis package. Happy too, to see that the brand has made adjustments to make it easier to dispense the product. * Leaves a slight balmy feel as its absorbed into the skin, but it's not slimy or greasy * Great after using a scrub & makes a fantastic DIY foot mask with a pair of socks * These mini / travel size versions would make a great stocking stuffer or gift in the winter months * Highly recommend for those with dry or very dry skin BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * A BUY for me 🛍️

I don’t know what some of the reviews problem is with the consistency. All you have to do is like blend it in a blend and smoothly. It smells amazing and it’s moisturizing. I love it. I recommend it.

It’s so frustrating when people write reviews that don’t know how the product works or how it’s supposed to work. This SKIN TREATMENT is amazing, high quality, and works wonders. It’s only grainy at first because like many butters, you need to massage it in, that’s what creates the butter effect. Learn about it, people!
