Paddle Brush

I expected much better durability from a premium brush. After only five months of normal use, the cushion warped and many of the bristles bent, making the brush much less effective. I contacted both Sephora and Pattern Beauty. While both teams were polite, neither was able to offer a replacement or a solution because the brush was purchased through Sephora Canada and was outside the return window. For the price, I expected a product that would last much longer. I’m sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

Surprisingly great brush! I have very thin, wavy hair that is extremely prone to breakage (autoimmune disease). Every single brush I have tried, without fail, has caused a ton of fallout and hair to come away on the brush. Pleasantly surprised to find that this brush has caused only extremely minimal fallout and no snags.

Quality is obviously very cheap even though this aesthetically looks like a nice brush. I only used it once or twice a week and it broke within 5 months of light use.

I’ve been using this brush now for about 3 months and the part comes out of the brush all the time that brushes my hair .. for the cost, I think you’d assume it would be put together nicer?… it’s just frustrating constantly having to fix it when brushing my hair

Worked well for a while, nothing special. Eventually the entire brush pad fell out of the handle (I guess the glue wasn’t very strong?). Either way I didn’t use it often, maybe 2x/week and it didn’t last nearly as long as it should have. Decided to buy a denman brush off Amazon and I’m never looking back.

Purchased this product to brush style my 3A curly hair as I needed a change from my Denman brush and this one is amazing. I use it primarily when my hair is wet but it’s also great for detangling my daughters wavy hair.

Love this PADDLE BRUSH , it is very gentle and smooth my hair . Light weight and it also massages my entire scalps. It is worth the price and good to have one , especially good for long hair , I love it . I received this gifted by Pattern Beauty.

I really wanted to love this brush, especially because it’s from PATTERN, a brand created with curly and textured hair in mind. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. For $30, I expected a high-quality brush that would actually hold up and perform across different curl patterns, but this one simply didn’t. I have 2c/3a type curls and it did not work well. It didn’t give me the detangling, definition, or ease I expected, and the brush itself did not last. At this price point, the durability is especially frustrating. What makes this more disappointing is that PATTERN is a brand founded by someone with Afro-textured hair, so I expected a much deeper understanding of what curly and textured-haired women actually need from a product like this. Curly hair is not one-size-fits-all, and a successful product should be designed with the range of curl patterns, densities, and detangling needs in mind. $30 is a lot to spend on a brush that doesn’t perform and doesn’t last. I really wanted to support the brand, but unfortunately, I can’t recommend this brush. I expected much more from PATTERN.

this hair brush is way better than any other one I have tried I have super thick and tangled wavy hair and this is the only thing that is gentle and gets the knots out. yes it is a little bit more money then something you could just get at a drug store but this is great totally recommended.
