I really wanted to like this line. I have fine, porous, 3b curls. This has zero hold and did nothing for my hair in terms of definition, and I know how to properly care for my curls. The first day it looked decent but by day two there was no way to revive my curls. My usual methods did not work and it just looked frizzy and limp. For that I am only giving it 3 stars. It’s just okay.

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I liked this, but didn't love it. The jelly feels more like a curl cream and doesn't have a lot of hold. I like more hold so I still used a bit of regular gel with this product. It smells nice and make my curls look soft and moisturized.

Excellent addition for curls
I really enjoy this product. I added it into my curling products for post shower, and it really helps soften my curls and it gives them a little bit of extra hold. I’m just not a fan of the fragrance, but I finish with sol de Jane to leave in spray so my hair smells great anyways.

This product worked as a lightly moisturizing leave in cream and defining jelly. Alone it may not work, but it did give more definition and reduce frizz as my hair dried when used with the whole curl expression line. It may not work for waves and probably isn't needed for spiral spring curls, but good for everything in between.

I’ll preface this by saying I was never taught to care for my hair. Okay. I think this would work better if I had a hair dryer or a hair dryer with a diffuser. When you let your hair air dry, it… isn’t great, in my experience. I feel like if used PROPERLY, it’s a great product.
