I really was hoping this product would work for me but unfortunately it didn’t do much of anything other then be an expensive shampoo. I have thin normal dryness type hair that keeps shedding. This shampoo smell reminds me of Vo5 from back in the days (90’s)This didn’t help with the shedding , in fact it dried out my hair. Even with the conditioner my hair was still on the dry side. More then when I use my Pantene Recovery.shedding at all so definitely didn’t strengthen any root
the scent and texture is nothing special but then after awhile my hair health legit improved and my split ends aren’t as bad. it’s gentle on my scalp too i haven’t had any issues and use it abt every three days
Going on a month of using the ProLonger Thickening shampoo. I really like it, leaves my hair clean, visibly thicker. I’ve tried numerous thickening shampoos, so many dry out my hair, this one does not.
It made my hair look and feel greasy so quickly. I tried it for a couple of weeks but had to return it. My hair looks and feels so much better with the L'Oréal shampoo I get from the drugstore.
I use this product continuously and pair it with Kérastase. If you have colored and thin hair, this product is for you. It provides a bit of volume and, in the short term, visible hair growth.

I have an oily scalp and normally wash my hair at least every other day. With this shampoo, my scalp became more oily and I found myself wanting to wash my hair after 12 hours. It’s probably better suited for people with normal to dry scalps.
