not like the original velvet matte lip pencil
super disappointed Nars discontinued their other lip pencils and now just have this pwrmatte option. Nars pencils used to be my favorite and had so many pretty shades w/ great wearability and comfort. Now I find myself scouring ebay for the originals as this new formula reminds me more of a lip stain and makes my lips feel dry as well as looking bad after a few hours, even the color is off (walkyrie was one of my staples but his new version is too dark for me). I would have given this 1 star but added in extra b/c of my love of the originals and the idea of a good lip crayon. Bad move Nars :[

The staying power of this product is incredible. You can eat and drink with it on and it'll stay put. The only draw back is it can be really drying so I'd recommend pairing it with a lipgloss or balm.

Love it! I have multiple colors
I’m in healthcare and want a transfer proof lipstick that doesn’t come off on my masks. This one is great, probably the best I’ve tried. The colors are gorgeous and I always get compliments. I do have to reapply often but it’s easy to swipe on and feels good on the lips. Not too drying.
