Customer reviews
I received the face mask. After putting it on my face, my face immediately started burning and felt so uncomfortable I had to wash it off.
Was iffy on this purchase, but glad I gave it a shot. I associate clay masks with drying out skin - they are commonly used to address acne and oily skin. I had recently started using retinol and, even though it isn’t particularly harsh, I definitely had some dryness, irritation, and small amount of flaking on my cheeks. I wanted to power through the retinol uglies, so I purchased this with the hope it would live up to its claims of hydrating and calming skin. After the first application, my skin felt fresh and hydrated. The redness and irritation were instantly alleviated and my skin was prepared for my next retinol use. That said, it isn’t a miracle for every skin type or concern, and and I’m not convinced there isn’t a less expensive, equally effective mask on the market.
Irritating and drying to the skin. Nourishing is a complete misnomer.
This mask is definitely hydrating, but I experienced a stinging sensation on my face when I first applied it following the directions on the bottle. The discomfort was around a seven out of ten. I have extremely dry, sensitive skin with redness on my cheeks and eczema. I'm unsure if I will repurchase this product, as I have only used it twice and it's only my second week of using it. I do like it overall, so I will continue to use the bottle and see how my skin reacts over time.
Feels nice with the brush but didn’t do much. Save your money
I only use this when my skin seems irritated, red, or I have a random breakout. It soothes my skin and tames the redness. I love Shani Darden products for my extremely dry sensitive skin. This mask hydrates very well.
I don’t know why I ever bought her products without reading ingredients - it’s all Marketing. The formulations and ingredients are truly HORRIBlE - chemicals and acrylates. Disgraceful
I enjoy this mask and I am happy I got it! It feels refreshing and leaves my skin so smooth and hydrated. The brush feels luxurious and it's part of my relaxing ritual now.
This burned my skin! I want to know what active ingredient causes this. I DO NOT have sensitive skin and have never had this happen before. Do not recommend
