I got a sample of this in my latest order. I always prefer to sample perfumes because they change on your skin. So far, I really love this one! It evokes a "cozy sweater" vibe. For me the sandalwood is very present, which also gives a subtle "incense" vibe. I think this will be in my fall/winter rotation!
A bit generic but I still enjoy it. Reminds me of a softer version of Alien...
This has such an amazing smell. I own almost all of the JHAG scents and this is different in a cozy and warm way. Layering it with Musc invisible is pure heaven
I chose the free sample size, and it was great. Not too strong, but it lingers and captures your attention once you catch a whiff. Applied to the wrists and had fun with that while going about my day. Ode to dullness, indeed. Will buy the full size someday!
I have never in my life written a review before, I’ve had this perfume for 2 years and it is truly the best perfume I have ever owned. My perfume collection consists of about 30 different scents and this is by far the best! Absolute perfection. Long lasting, projecting, clean, not too overpowering, perfect for every day. I get compliments on this every time I wear it. Must buy!
I chose this as one of my bonus samples because I had to know “Dullness” smelled like. I passed the sample around at dinner and everyone loved it. Very wearable, regardless of season. Warm and not too bright.
My top everyday perfume. I wear it all the time except during Summer and I miss it in Summer. So cozy, almost mystical. I hope it never gets discontinued.

Got as a sample, loved so much I bought a bottle. Takes a lot for me to actually buy a costly fragrance. It's simple and clean but has a touch of "spice" that isnt too overpowering or mature. It's an understated, everyday scent. Love it.
This perfume is perfect for winter as it’s cozy, warm, and spicy smelling. Smells like wearing a sweater on a chilly day and drinking a spiced warm drink. It leans more clean smelling than gourmand and wears closer to the skin.
