Infrared Sauna Blanket for Full-Body Detox

I was super excited to try this Sauna Blanket out by Higher Dose. I love the dry sauna at the gym and go several times a week so to have an at home option that I can easily store and pull out when I need it was extremely appealing to me. Unfortunately, it fell short. I think the most inconvenient thing is to wear 100% cotton clothes that fully cover your skin, including socks on your feet. I had to go through my clothes one by one to find clothes that were 100% cotton which took time. Then, to have to get a cotton towel and set that up inside the sauna blanket on top of that so it’s easier to clean is also inconvenient. You would still need to wipe the inside after using. It takes about 10 minutes to warm up so you have to start it early and then get in. For the retail price of $700, I think this is very overpriced. The remote also is super simple and doesn’t include a timer which you would think they could’ve added that simple option on there after all of the technology used and the consumer price. I gave it 3 stars because it technically does what it says it does but even the 3 stars is generous. It’s more like 2.5/5 honestly. I do not recommend this product.

I’m really enjoying using this sauna blanket! I don’t like humidity or steam rooms, but I do like saunas and heat on the drier side so this is a more affordable way to get a sauna experience in a house or apartment. I put a sheet or yoga mat under the blanket just in case to protect my hardwood floor and wore long sleeves, lightweight pants, and socks as directed. I also slowly graduated to a higher number on the control over time to make it hotter and ease into it. I was honestly a little worried about zipping the blanket completely up because I am claustrophobic, but fortunately the blanket is more than wide enough so it doesn’t feel constricting. I find it relaxing and comfortable, but it’s also nice for detoxing since you sweat. I don’t even realize I’m sweating until I’m done using the blanket and exit the blanket. I prefer this since (a) wouldn’t feel comfortable feeling sweating for a 30 minute or more period, and (b) still get the benefits of a healthy sweat. It helps to loosen my muscles and helps me relax. I look forward to using it following a workout and combined with a cool shower afterward.

I am moderately active (about 4 times a week) and a lot of times, I like to end my exercise in the sauna. It helps lower my stress level and relax my muscles. However, if I go for a run or work out at home, I am unable to use the sauna. I was very excited to try this sauna blanket. Before I talk about the blanket, I want to emphasize that it is very important to read the instructions from beginning to end. After reading the instructions, I realized that I had to move my mat from underneath it. It was also while reading the instructions that I realized I had to cover up from head to toe. The sauna blanket heats up quickly. I did a sauna session for about 40 minutes (not on the highest settings), and I sweated a good bit. The blanket left me feeling relaxed. I will say that when I first used it, I didn’t know what to do it by arms, and that part felt awkward, but putting it behind my head worked nicely

I wanted to try this for the relaxation aspect that a sauna gives. I live in a small space so that limits my in home options. This is perfect for small spaces. I started at a 4 for about 30 minutes for my first session. It definitely warms up quickly and is intensely relaxing to the point I almost fell asleep. Over the next few sessions I cranked up the level each time until I reached a 7 for maximum sweat. I was a bit worried as a size 16 that it would be a tight fit, but it wasn’t. I had plenty of space. The instructions do state to use it on a heat resistant surface. Out of an abundance of caution I used on hard wood flooring with a yoga mat underneath it. I can’t say that it was the most comfortable. You can feel the coils and it took me quite some time to get past the feeling. I also wish that the sauna insert blanket was included, otherwise you need to be completely covered including socks. It’s a bit uncomfortable to be sweating with a full outfit on.

I absolutely love how good this Higher Dose sauna blanket makes me feel after a long day at work. I've used it two to three times a week and every time I feel so relaxed and good after it. It's super easy to use and the shoulder flaps are a nice addition that make me feel extra cozy and super relaxed. I love how much I sweat afterwards and that I can control the temperature settings on it exactly how I want. It is a great easy setup at home and a perfect replacement for traditional sauna self care that I can enjoy anytime.

I love going to the sauna. But where i live there aren't any close by. The closest is two hours away. So I dont always have time to visit one. When I heard about Higherdose and that they have a sauna blanket and I knew I wanted to try it. Ive been using it for about a month now and wow is this a game changer. Not only does it work to increase blood flow and circulation. It also works to mood boost, reduce stress and muscle recovery. You also burn calories and it gives you a deep detox. So far i get in with long sleeves, pajama pants and socks. I plan to buy the inserts so I can start going in naked. But even without the insert. While wearing clothes it still feels amazing. You get a good sweat going even on level 4 which is where I started at. Its so relaxing. I have to set an alarm on my phone incase I fall asleep. As a busy mom. I really needed this. Stress be gone! My muscles feel so much better after. I even used it on a day I had really bad cramps and it helped so much. Even a heating pad doesn't help some days. But this just knocks them right out. Ive been using it a couple times a week. It has really boosted my mood. Even my husband loves it. He works construction and comes home sore. This has been a game changer for him also. Another plus if that its really easy to put together and take apart. I would highly recommend. It really is worth the price. I dont know how I lived with out this for so long.

This Sauna blanket will give you a luxurious experience that’s totally worth the investment! It is definitely well-made with high-quality materials, and it’s so easy to set up and wipe clean after each session. On top of that, the blanket folds up easily for storage, which is a huge plus if you don’t have enough space. It has become my favorite way to unwind after long, stressful days, and especially after workouts. I usually let it preheat for a 10 minutes, then relax inside for about 30–45 minutes. After the session ends, I get up feeling refreshed, and my muscles are deeply relaxed and recovered. Unlike a traditional sauna, the warmth feels more gradual and comfortable as it builds. I work up a good sweat, but I never feel like I’m struggling to breathe or sitting in overly hot air.

I have owned a HigherDOSE blanket for about two weeks now, and it has become an amazing addition to my recovery routine, both lifting weights and doing yoga. I really love how deeply relaxing this sauna blanket is. It has the ability to put your body into an incredibly deep, relaxing state that mirrors a profound, heated savasana! The infrared heat is perfect for melting away tension and restoring sore muscles, which has really helped me with my flexibility. It features 9 temperature levels on its handheld controller. So far, Levels 7 and 8 feel reasonably hot, and I highly recommend wearing socks at the very least to protect your feet! My only complaint is the strong plastic smell, which unfortunately has given me headaches. If you are sensitive to scents, keep that in mind, though if you are looking for deep restoration and a mindful sweat at home, the benefits are beautiful. This sauna blanket is a game-changer for home self-care. It heats up fast, makes you sweat like a heavy workout, and helps you relax completely. Cleanup takes a few minutes, clean with a disinfecting wipe and let it air out to store away for next time! Keeping the smell in consideration 4/5 recommend!

I've been looking into spa memberships into red light and sauna sessions for awhile. I wanted to use it for skin recovery. I was delighted to find this infared sauna blanket and it has been a game changer. I use it by spreading it out and lying inside. It gives me the same treatment from the comfort of my home. It's a great investment. It is a bit heavy but I think worth it. I've been using it on level 4 for a few weeks and easy to setup and clean afterwards. I love not having to leave the house. Received as part of an educational promotion.
