Agreed. Mold smell immediately present. Ordered this since everyone raved. Need something low odor for my itchy sensitive scalp. I can still smell (2 drops) on my scalp an hour later. How does this get 5 stars when others rate lower ? I am smell sensitive, need something for my scalp... but will not be able to use if it SMELLS primarily like MOLD (even if it did work). Sending back.

I got this thinking it would be a better version of my Daily Hydro but the peppermint oil left a very smelly odor and residue that I personally dislike. it did help w/ a dry itchy scalp though. Just the smell is very strong.
This microbiome cooling scalp serum from Act+Acre is just what I needed for my itchy flaky scalp. I suffer with dandruff and this serum gives a nice cooling sensation, and it actually helps reduce the amount of flakes on my scalp. I would recommend this to everyone who needs help like me.

I don't know how this can have any positive reviews with the awful smell. I couldn't stand it and had to wash my hair again after applying it.
I get a really dry and itchy scalp and was desperate for something to soothe it so I gave this a try. Unfortunately, I noticed immediately after opening the bottle that it smelled like minty mildew but I thought I’d still give it a chance. The smell only got worse after I put in on my scalp because I couldn’t stop smelling it. It smells like mothballs and mildew and even though it worked to relieve my itchiness I had to return it the same day it was so unbearable. I’m giving it 2 stars since it worked at doing what it says it does but I can’t give it more than that because the smell is criminal.
It smells like moth balls? I’ve had to wash my hair 3 times to get out the smell and I can still smell it. Confused cause not many other people are talking about how badly this makes your hair smell
So glad I found this product! Due to harsh hair products my scalp was irritated and after one use I feel healed! I wish I had found it sooner. Must buy. No fragrance but slight menthol aroma that is very soothing. soothing.
