Very nice

One of the few luxuries I can justify
I have been a fan of Glow Recipe since their Watermelon Glow product was trending on Instagram. Sadly, that product, as much as I loved it, was too much for my face. This product however, is a holy-grail of toners for me. My face sucks this up like it’s a dehydrated desert (I am combination-oily, especially in my T-Zone in the summer months) It smells like, to me, sunkissed skin; the kind of scent you get with a clean sweat from being in out in the summer sun, not the smell of BO. Part of the appeal for me is the smell since, especially in the winter depression months, it reminds me that summer will come around again. In regard to how well it works? It’s hard to see the changes day to day, but I have heard on more than one occasion from different friends/family that my face looks like it is “glowing”. I usually apply this immediately after a shower so my pores are wide open and ready to suck it all up. Just make sure you do NOT put this on and then brush your teeth, because it doesn’t play nice with toothpaste/mint (can cause some outbreaks around the mouth if you do, but that could just be me). All said, I always come back to using this. It’s my favourite product and until Glow Recipe dips its toes into a Kiwi line, I will be buying this again and again.

What a letdown.
This was a really disappointing experience. As a toner, I really enjoyed how light and fresh it felt. It wasn't the most hydrating or moisturizing toner, but I didn't expect it to be. However after a certain point where I was maybe 80% through the bottle, the texture of the formula changed. It became jelly-like, and I had to constantly unscrew the top and swish the pump around in the product the way you do when you're reaching the end of a lotion bottle. By the end, I gave up and tried to just shake the rest out, but it took forever for the now-jelly toner to actually break down into liquid and spread on my skin. The toner itself is perfectly good if you're looking for something light, but I shouldn't have to struggle so much just to use the product, especially at this price point.

Bad packaging, felt wasteful
I was excited for this as I like a citrusy toner but once I get half way through this product I couldn’t pump out any more and I had to use a q-tip to try to get more out. Product was fine,awful packaging
