Secure the Glow Tacky Hydrating Primer with BOBA Complex

I really wanted to like this product. When I put it on, it feels very good and looks moisturizing. But once I put on my Danessa Myricks skin tint on top of the primer, it started to peel not long afterward. I thought maybe it was the brand so I tried the same primer but with my NYX skin tint and the same thing happened. It’s disappointing because I didn’t even realize until I so happened to touch my face and felt residue and saw peeling pieces on my hand. I usually stick with the Refy glow primer but wanted to try this for a change. After a while I had to exchange this product and go back to what I know which is the Refy.

As someone with more sensitive skin, this broke me out pretty bad! The consistency and how the product lays underneath makeup is nice, but if you aren’t careful, it may end up patchy. Overall, try it if you don’t have sensitive or acne-prone skin, but if you do, stay far away!

I really wanted to this love so bad , I’ve been looking for a primer that’s acne friendly & it just kept breaking me out & would cling to dry spots on my face and separate after about 12 hours of wear . The elf primer is better! The elf

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it was a huge miss for me. This primer made all of my makeup peel and pill no matter what I applied on top — foundation, concealer, even skin tints. I tried different application methods (fingers, brush, sponge) and waited between steps, but nothing helped. My makeup literally separated and rolled off my skin. For the price, this was extremely disappointing.

I followed the tutorial from ONESIZE and let both my water based moisturizer set into the skin and applied this letting it sit for 5 minutes and before I even applied my foundation it started to ball up and peel, doesn’t give a hydrated feel to the skin or tacky/sticky not a fan :(

this product was glowy and gave my hydration BUT when i applied my foundation it clumped so bad i had to take it off and both of them are water based. i returned it, love the powder and setting spray though.

I’m a all matte girly , but you know I wanted to try out glows makeup during the winter. My makeup does not move and my makeup looks glowy. Obviously I know some of this is attributed to the setting sprays and application

I absolutely love the tackiness to help my makeup stay on that this product gave. It doesn’t cling to dry patches and feels good on the skin!

Can't speak to this products performance as it is NOT HYDRATING if you actually have dry skin. It clings to dry areas and emphasized everything, as these 'hydrating" primers keep seeming to do. Tried it once and had to wipe off everything and restart without after attempting to settle my foundation upon it. Returned immediately.

I am entering my "mature skin" era. I've had to adjust the type of products I use. I switched to priming serums, and this is the best by far. it's become my primary primer. all the other priming serums I used to use, I'm only using to finish the product.
